The CURAC offers mobility grants for young researchers. The scholarships serve for the initiation or continuation of a scientific cooperation in computer- and robot-assisted surgery or in adjacent fields (computer and robot support in radiotherapy and interventional radiology). The grant supports one or more guest stays of PhD students / postdocs in a host institution locally or abroad with the goal to conduct experiments, develop soft- and hardware in a suitable environment, and / or to initiate third-party funded projects, such that the funding has the character of start-up financing. Supported items include direct mobility costs, such as travel expenses and local rents. The CURAC plans to support several junior scientists and their projects via the scholarship. The amount of each individual scholarship is not limited, but the requested sum must be reasonable.
