  • Paper Submission

    Call for Papers (PDF)

    At the core of this interdisciplinary conference are your submitted papers that will be presented and discussed in detail as talk, poster and interactive computer demonstrations. 

    You are cordially invited to submit scientific contributions to CURAC.2019 via the abstract management system. Please create a new user account under the menu item "Register and submit paper". The submissions in German or English should contain one to six pages, enriched with illustrations and tables (please use the Word template or the LaTeX template). Please choose one of the following two categories when submitting to the abstract management system:

    • Full Papers (especially suitable for technical reports, 4 to 6 pages)

    • Extended Abstracts (especially suitable for clinical reports, 1 to 2 pages)

    Please select the appropriate format according to the page size you require. We also expressly encourage the submission of preliminary and early contributions.

    Full Papers are particularly suitable for technical or more detailed scientific contributions. Extended abstracts are suitable for clinical reports, for example. The Program Committee reserves the right to select the submissions as lectures or posters.

    The contributions will be evaluated by the program committee of CURAC 2019 according to the usual criteria of applied, interdisciplinary research. 

  • Presentation
    Conference language

    Lectures and posters may be presented in English or German. The language may also be freely chosen when submitting contributions as full paper or poster.

    Oral presentation

    The oral presentation lasts a maximum of 15 minutes (12 minutes talk + 3 minutes discussion). The lecture time of Session XIII is 10 minutes (8 min. Lecture + 2 min) discussion.

    The central media check is located in the area of the conference office. Please submit your presentation on a USB storage device at least 1 hour before the start of the session. It is possible to test the presentation and edit it if necessary. Please note that different encodings may cause problems with video or audio formats. Therefore, please visit the media check-in good time!

    Please prepare your presentation in PPT (X) or PDF format. A presentation device with PDF reader and MS Office PowerPoint in the version 2010 will be provided. The use of your own presentation device is not allowed. In the lecture hall, there is a lectern with notebook, presenter and laser pointer. Please do not protect your storage medium with security software.

  • Publication

    All contributions will be evaluated by the program committee of CURAC 2019 according to the usual criteria of application-related, interdisciplinary research. The contributions will be published in the digital CURAC conference proceedings. Best Paper Award publications may be proposed for publication in the International Journal of Computer Assisted Radiology and Surgery.
